The Client

Our Client is a Hong Kong listed and one of the leading apparel manufacturing company with production facilities in the PRC and overseas.


The Job

The Incumbent will plan and execute Lean specific projects and programs so as to drive continuous operation process with excellence across the factories of nominated regions at corporate level. Coordinate, organize and deliver Lean specific training to the corporate & factory Lean personnel. Identify and track potential technical and resource related problems, to initiate corrective actions and to implement the corrective measures and keep track the progress of the projects. Oversee and manage the implementation of Lean projects relevant to operation processes of the plants through different tools and vehicles such as conducting ongoing analysis, internal benchmarking and soft benefit computation, etc. Maintain, monitor and keep track the key quality performance metrics of the factories such as pull system, supply flow balancing/ constraint & manufacturing lead-time.


The Candidate

Successful Candidate must have a Degree in Process/Industrial Manufacturing System/ Industrial Engineering or related disciplines. Formal Lean training and certification required, with at least 5 years of solid relevant experience in manufacturing environment and minimum 3 years in a Lean & Sigma focused role. Prior relevant experience in garment manufacturing sector is preferred. Solid experience in project management and business/Lean training. Good knowledge in manufacturing system including ISO9000, 10S, Kaizen, 8 wastes, Pokayoke, Jidoka, Value Stream Mapping. Proficient in the use of project management tools and application of Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent. A self-driven person with strong sense of integrity and remain assertive when encountering difficulties. Good command of spoken and written in English and Mandarin. Excellent communication skills, a positive and “can-do” attitude. Frequent travel across the regions in the mainland and the overseas is required.
