u can write java applications for mobile phones like nokia
using J2ME(Java 2 Micro Edition)
it is a platform for mobile applications by java
but the phone must support java (MIDP)

The KVM is similar to the JVM (Java Virtual Machine) in that it is the engine that runs application and applet written with Java technology. I never realized that the JVM and KVM were similar in that sense.

There is software where you can make your own application which is java. If you have this software, you can start looking a good tutorial in making an application. The coverage of tutorial must in logical progression which shows you step by step instructions from easy to advance.
