How java can be used in Telecom

Hi am going to work in the field of Telecom and Networking ,
Can any one help me in Understanding How java can be Used in The development
of applicaitons for Telecom & Networking Domain.

You can use java for networking purposes, In java , there is api called
java.net, in this API, there is lot of classes available which deals with
local network , intranet and internet. so you can use this availablity.
