Job Description:

• Hands on work experience with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/d and/or IEEE 802.11n and CISCO ACS
• Should have worked on various wireless security methods like- LEAP/PEAP/WPA/WPA2/MSchap/MD5 etc- minimum 03 years
• Programming skills in any one language- C/C++ (at least 3/5)
• Should have thorough debugging and troubleshooting skills in wireless domain (any one device type is ok- Mobile handsets/Handheld computers/wireless switches)
• BE (Electronics & Communication) – from either Govt engineering college or NIT minimum – no third grade colleges please- at least 75% and above else should be from a very good product company in wireless domain . ME/M Tech is a plus (Only in Electronics, or Communication Engineering)
• Should have worked on one complete product (at least- from requirements till release)
• Excellent communication skills- verbal and written
• Knowledge on GSM/GPRS/UMTS call processing is a plus though not mandatory
• Knowledge on UNIX/LINUX environment for development and testing is desirable
• Knowledge of MS windows XP environment for development and debugging is a must
• Knowledge of tools such as Ixia Chariot, smartbits, Azimuth systems, Funk or Oddesy clients, RADIUS authentication servers, CISCO ACS – mandatory
• Knowledge of WIFI protocols and other networking protocols is mandatory- minimum 5 years of hands on work experience on protocols
• Positive attitude and willingness to help team members proactively
• Should be willing to go extra mile to support team and any projects in case of need
• Should be fine with individual contributor role, this position may not have people reporting to him but it will be like domain lead role for the entire group- technical experts on wireless and embedded technologies- in case of need should be willing to learn new technologies and help the team to deliver in those areas
