Well.. there are so many ways to build backlinks to your site. If you have some $$ to spend you can buy links, buy blog posts from relevant blogs. But, if you are someone like me, who don't want to spend money for backlinks, all you have to do is concentrate on the content. Try to post Quality content.. and unique content. Quality is important than Quantity here And there are so many ways to advertise your content for Free like Social Bookmarking, Forum posting,etc. Also, I find the best way to build link is to enter your desired keyword into Google and analyse the top ten URLs. Find out where their links are coming from and place your link there. Simple!

11. Sponsoring themes and templates: If you sponsor a theme you get footer/ sidebar links from the sites whichever will be using that theme! If the design is really cool and you can promote it well, then its a great source of natural links.

It is really nice information that you had discussed I was just wondering that to make our site in google's top 10 search we have to apply all the techniques or any one will work out. I know that there are two type of techniques on page and off page. I think onpage will be more effective techniques then off page. It was really informative post. Good job.
