i use an ide to usb cable to connect a hdd to my laptop. i was recently using a 20 gb u series 5 seagate hdd (pata) on the ide to usb serial cable and the power went out. when i switched back on, the partition drive from the harddisk which i was using was detected, but its file system is now showing it as raw. i have important data on the partition. is there any way i can recover that data or turn that file system back to raw without formating it?
