PHP Phone Book

First I want add my thanks to all the others. This was great stuff and very easy to modify and in the process I've taught myself more PHP in 3 days than I ever picked up in years of frontend web design. Second I don't know why anyone would think this needs to be fixed before sharing. It is not a perfectly polished project but it is finished and any changes people need to make it deployable are a good learning exercise. Oh and if any php/scripting noobs like me are worried about the 'unsanitized inputs' comments, check out this page for a fast easy solution: http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/php/sanitize-and-validate-data-with-php-filters/

i ll tell you why cause this is not just a forum for people who know programming and it is not obvious for anyone that wants to learn php..
or sql..))
and not everyone has the time to spend to do that i also thank the uploader for it but i would prefer not to take so much time to make a project to run and use additional programmes...))
well its my opinion some people agree others desagree..)

Thanks for the project.
I have been trying to work on the project.
Its really wonderful.
However i am getting a problem when i try showing the contacts.
It keeps bringing an empty string.
Can some one tell me what is wrong .thanks.

The code is easy to learn and handover it will not take more than 1 - 2 hours , if u are a good PHP programmer .

i'm a newbie...i don't know anything about PHP..but i want to use PHP Phone book as my sample project for my study...so i hope u can give me a guide on how to use it as a fully functional.. i also don't know about MYSQL..

do i have to copy phonebook2 folder and the phonebook.txt to the mysql folder so this php phonebook can be use?

i've try installing xampp and put the file in the mysql folder, but it didn't work..
